Answers to FAQ's

• Our guesthouse is about 20 minutes from UVA & Monticello.
• Children are welcome!
• No pets, please.
• The pool is open all year long, but not heated.
• There is central heating and A/C.
• There is no cable TV on the mountain, only VCR and local reception. We usually have PBS, ABC and two other local channels. The Annex has cable.
• There is internet access with a good air card.
• No pets allowed. This is so people who are allergic to pet dander can stay here.
• All of the roms have queen sized beds except for the extra or third bedroom in the Lodge. No king sized beds.
• The mountain top location is off US Route 20, 6 miles north-east of Charlottesville, 12 - 15 minutes from the intersection of 250 East and 20 North - Pantops.
• The nearest grocery store is at Pantops, Food Lion & Giant.
• There are have ample sheets and towels and beds are made when you arrive.
• The houses have complete kitchens including dishwashers. There are coffee makers (US & European) and coffee, a coffee grinder, tea, sugar.. in each kitchen.
• There is no breakfast served. There is no maid service.
• Check in after 3pm, check out by 11am.
• You can pay with credit card, cash on arrival, or by check.
• Please reserve space by sending a Reservation Request. Reserveing space by phone can result in a double-booking. We do not take reservations for one night only on weekends unless it is the weekend in question, then just call us.
• Gift certificates are available through Bed & Breakfast.com.
• Cancellations: Your payment (minus a $25.00 processing fee plus the 3% credit card fee above $25 if applicable) will be refunded to you up until ten days before your arrival date if you cancel. If you cancel 10 days or fewer before your arrival date, your payment will not be refunded. This applies to any and all cancellations, including if you choose not to come because of weather conditions. If we cancel your reservation, your payment will be refunded in full.
